VSCC Vintage Motorsport festival, Brands Hatch – Sat 24th August 2019

I think this should be reminiscent of the historic race meets the club used to go to at Donington Park. There isn’t a program yet, but the VSCC application form lists the following races:-

• Std & Mod Pre-war Sports Cars
  Pre-war Sports Cars
  Vintage & Pre-1961 Racing Cars
  Short Scratch for Pre-war Cars
  Short Handicap Race for Pre-war Cars
  Edwardian Handicap Race
  Special Pre-war Sports and Racing Cars
  Intermarque Trophy Race
  Triple M Register
  Owner Driver Mechanic Handicap Race
  Vintage Racing and Sports Cars

If there is enough interest, the club could apply to have a car show area which would mean that car and driver would get in to watch the racing for free. (As per the Masters historic Festival) However we need to know how many are interested so that we book for the right number of cars.

I am going to this event as they are well run by the VSCC and it is fantastic racing with big engines and skinny wheels.
