Hi everybody.
I have an extra early arrivals ticket for the Friday. I made a mistake when ordering my tickets, so if any body wants it then just buy me a pint and its yours.

I am going to this event as they are well run by the VSCC and it is fantastic racing with big engines and skinny wheels.

We had a good run to the Toby Carvery at Westwood Cross. It was dry through the lanes but the main roads around Thanet were very slippery and we all felt our cars sliding about. Thanks for the offer but I can't use a colour tune as the spark plugs are down a long tube through the rocker cover and the transparent end of the colour tune plug cant be seen. I am using a special double insulated set of plug leads that I made up just for this adjustment so that I can hold them wi...

hi Ian The anti vibration plates are the ones with the bonded O rings. I think the slow running problem I have got is to do with fuel imbalance between the four chokes. The suction values per cylinder are OK as I checked these with my home made manometer. After reading the Weber book again I will ha...

I have had trouble with my cars slow running. On investigation the large anti vibration spectacle mounting plates that have two rubber O rings were found to be perished. I assume this has been caused by the additives in the modern fuel. I have sent an enquiry to Weber's but have not received an answ...

Sign me up for a blast down the strip. Last time I went to the Pod was over 40 years ago. I hope they have improved the Loos by now as the ones there for my last visit were a tin shed where the pee ran out onto the grass so you paddled through it to get inside.
